Hi! I’m Shannon. I’m a wife to the sweetest man, mama to the cutest pup, designer, homemaker, gardener, needle-pointer, and bookworm. I love to celebrate every day life and make the ordinary extra special! Everything I do is influenced by my faith in Jesus. 

My husband and I bought our little house, Sherwood Cottage, in Minnesota in 2018 and have been DIYing the renovations ever since! In 2021, I started an Instagram account to document our progress. And in 2023, this blog was born. Creating a blog for our little home has been a dream of mine for a while now, and I’m thrilled to finally bring it to life!
